Planet Positive

The world is already using approximately 1.6 planet’s worth of resources every year. By 2030, the global middle class is expected to reach 5.3 billion people. This means an additional two billion people with increased wishes and purchasing power than 2020, resulting in a skyrocketing fashion consumption. But human creativity and innovation can flip the numbers in the planet’s favour.

With a planet positive mindset, the fashion industry can operate in ways that regenerates instead of depletes earth’s resources.

Our aim is to find planet positive technologies that extend beyond circular economy and climate change, and instead consider all aspects of earth’s natural support systems. This will lead to a true shift for the textile industry.

The shift will also bring new benefits for the industry and customers alike. Reduced risks of resource exhaustion, cleaner processes, less chemicals, longer garment life cycles and improved customer relationships are all parts of a planet positive fashion world – where the clothes we wear don’t come with a planetary price tag we cannot afford.

What if you have the ideas to make it possible? We think you do.
