Redesigning systems

We are not a huge donor with big muscles. Instead, we are a quite small foundation, but a fast and flexible one. Our size can be our strength, as we quickly can tweak and advance our programs and strategies to improve the output. We don’t fear the imperfect, that’s how we learn and progress.

To change and improve established – but failing – systems we use two methods: either fast and agile, prototyping and improving along the way, or through perseverance challenging traditional work in siloes, and inviting all actors to join in.

As a private non-profit foundation, we are in the position of taking risks and trying new ideas in a way that most NGOs and commercial businesses can’t. Furthermore, we communicate about our successes and mistakes openly and involve the industry along the way.

We believe this is how long-term change happens.
