We seek initiatives that align with our commitment of promoting just and fair climate solutions for the textile industry.
When we scope new projects, we begin by identifying the largest gaps and opportunities in the textile value chain, particularly focusing on areas with the highest greenhouse gas emissions. From there, we explore initiatives that can effectively tackle these challenges.
All potential initiatives are evaluated against our guiding principles to ensure they align with our mission and can deliver scalable impact.
For example, we look for initiatives that:
- Target high-emission areas with the potential for significant impact.
- Are scalable and can be replicable across the industry.
- Prioritise the wellbeing of both people and the planet.
- Has a systems change approach.
What kind of initiatives are we looking for?
We are particularly interested in projects that address key challenges across the textile value chain, with a focus on driving innovation, collaboration, and systemic change. Your initiative should be aligned with one or more of our four key solution areas: Innovation, Research & Demonstration, Collective Action, and Insights & Inspiration. These areas represent where we believe we can make the most significant impact in reducing the industry’s emissions and promoting sustainability.
We seek initiatives that are forward-thinking, bold, and capable of addressing the root causes of climate change and social inequalities in the textile industry. Whether you’re working on innovative technologies, research that could lead to industry-wide improvements, collaborative efforts to unite diverse stakeholders, or creative projects that inspire action and shift perceptions, we’re excited to hear from you. The best initiatives are those that not only solve immediate problems but also create scalable, long-term solutions that can transform the industry.
