Making a second donation to the Rana Plaza Donors Trust Fund

The H&M Foundation, an independent non-profit global foundation, today makes a donation to the victims and the families affected by the Rana Plaza collapse two years ago. This is the second donation from the H&M Foundation. H&M has never had any production at any of the factories situated in Rana Plaza, so the H&M Foundation bases the decision for donation on humanitarian grounds. The donation of $100,000 will go exclusively to further support the victims and their families through the fund managed by the UN body the International Labor Organization.

The H&M Foundation is making a donation to the victims and the families affected by the tragic Rana Plaza collapse almost one year ago. H&M has never had any production in any of the factories situated in Rana Plaza, so the foundation bases the decision for donation on humanitarian reason. The donation will go exclusively to support the victims and the families through the fund set up and managed by the UN body the International Labor Organization and will be $100,000.

H&M Foundation supports flood victims in India

In response to the devastating floods in northern India, H&M Foundation has donated USD 100,000 to support Save the Children India’s relief efforts. The money will help finance for instance hygiene kits, water purification tablets, food baskets and warm blankets to 5,000 families in the ten worst-affected villages.
