India is experiencing a devastating second wave of COVID-19 throughout the country. In response to this, the H&M Foundation is donating USD 100,000 to the Red Cross India contributing to urgent support such as COVID clinics, oxygen cylinders, testing and screening.
Thousands of children have fled the full-scale humanitarian crisis in Ethiopia’s Tigray region, and taken refuge in Sudan. More than 45,000 people have fled so far. Conflict always affects children the most, therefore the H&M Foundation is providing emergency relief support to Save the Children. The funds will be used in efforts to reunite children with their families, provide shelter, clean water and education.
H&M Foundation gives a total donation of USD 200,000 to the Red Cross, to meet the immediate and urgent needs of people affected by the series of tropical cyclones that have devastated areas in Vietnam and the Philippines lately.

On 28 September 2018, a major earthquake with a 7.4 magnitude, struck Sulawesi Island, Indonesia, generating a tsunami that hit coastal areas. As a result, less than a week later more than 1,400 people were killed, 2,500 injured and 70,000 were displaced. In response to this, the H&M Foundation donates USD 100,000 to The Red Cross.
