With the rising risk of disease, extreme heat, and the upcoming monsoon season, the need for coordinated, rapid aid is critical. Our support will help ensure that essential services and life-saving care reach the most affected communities.
MRCS and MSF are working to:
- Provide trauma care, emergency surgeries, and mobile medical support
- Distribute clean water, hygiene kits, and temporary sanitation facilities
- Repair damaged healthcare facilities and reconnect separated families
- Deliver mental health support and psychological first aid
Supply temporary shelter, household essentials, and cash assistance
So far, 250 metric tonnes of relief items have arrived in the country. The interventions and early recovery have been focusing on the specific needs of the young, elderly and disabled population.
