H&M Foundation supports GodHjälp in Sweden

In these times many vulnerable people are isolated without the possibility to go out to buy groceries and medicines. H&M Foundation has made a donation to GoodCause Foundation, who is setting up a digital tool matching these people with volunteers.

GodHjälp (GoodHelp) connects so called ”HomeHeroes” – people from risk groups who’s sacrificing their social life by staying home – with volunteers who are making it possible for the “HomeHeroes” to stay at home. Through a reliable, national and digital tool these people are brought together, enabling free home deliveries of food and pharmacy products.

“I am proud that H&M Foundation is a partner of GodHjälp and I am convinced that this can contribute with an important social function by protecting vulnerable people, reducing the burden on the health care system and in the end save lives.”

— Karl-Johan Persson, board member of the H&M Foundation

The project is led by GoodCause Foundation in close partnership with Norrsken Foundation and their initiative “Action against corona”. Other partners, contributing with communication, technical solutions and legal expertise are Netlight, Scrive, Microsoft, Vinge, Axfood and Coop.
