The innovation in a nutshell
A laundry solution that restores old and worn garments to mint condition.
More in detail
What is lost isn’t necessarily lost forever. At least when it comes to clothes that have lost the battle against time. The wardrobe heroes we’ve worn hundreds of times, always handled with care — in the end, they lose shape, their colours fade, and they begin to pill.
Now, there’s a better option to donating or recycling them.
BIORESTORE is a laundry solution consisting of a perfect Earth-friendly mix of enzymes and minerals. It reacts with water and cellulose garment fibres and launches a bio-chemical process that removes hairiness from deep yarn structures, improving colour brilliance, allowing fabrics to tighten, making a garment’s surface soft and smooth. It does all this in just one wash.
This patent-pending innovation has the power to disrupt the entire fashion industry —making second-hand garments look brand new, decreasing the desire to shop new items, and prolonging the lives of our wardrobe heroes.
It’s not magic. It’s science.
“The GCA will accelerate our dream into a reality – to offer a simple and sustainable solution to a global consumer problem. With the help and support of the H&M Foundation we now have a global platform to extend garment life and prevent clothes being sent to an early landfill grave.”
